Look Of The Day + My Summer Routine
July 03, 2018
Hope you're all doing great and enjoying every single second of warm weather! I decided to present you with a short blog post every day of this week, so you guys can get some daily inspiration but also find out more about my summer obsessions in terms of style.
Today is all about a beautiful summer dress from a super-light fabric found at Zaful. I am wearing a size S and I can say it's true to size. You can make it longer or shorter, depending on your preferences (via its drawstring). It's a versatile dress that changes its vibe with the accessories you mix it with, it can be worn for day or night. As I love walking a lot in the summer, I created a day look today and paired it with a bandana scarf worn around my neck (hair tucked in it - I just love the effect it creates), statement earrings, snake print bag and velvet mules.
Given the fact this dress is basically a block of colour, I chose to add prints everywhere else: from the scarf to the shoes, everythings has cute details.
My go-to makeup for summer is usually this one, a no makeup makeup, with golden eyeshadow (I love playing with different shades of gold every day), a light foundation, a bit of orange blush + tiny bit of cherry for that fresh look as I am really pale, and just a hydrating balm on the lips.
I love freshly washed hair, nothing beats it. I am trying not to abuse it, but I am washing it every 2 days now that it's super warm. And every 2-3 days the rest of the year too.
Expect my usual hair routine consissting of shampoo - conditioner - mask, I don't add any other products. At times, when the ends feel dry, I use either pure argan oil, either pure coconut oil and just rub it in when the hair is still damp after washing it.
I hope you enjoyed going through this post, come back tomorrow for a different look.
Love,
