Embroidered With a Twist

We all love embroidery, personally I love story telling embroidery - the one that makes you dream, the one that reminds me of fairytales, of forgotten times. Embroidery can be mysterious, fun, a work of art...but above all, it is feminine. It has that je ne sais quoi, so it's definitely timeless.
But what happens when you mix embroidery with masculine elements and sportswear? It changes the whole story! I love mixing items that apparently don't work together at all, it's my speciality.
I had my eyes on this dress for quite some times, and here it is: a long, story telling, embroidered dress from VIPme. The dress can be found on this link - here at an extremely affordable price. Don't panic, the dress came together with a short black slip dress that actually goes underneath, but I don't like it that way, I prefer wearing sporty black lingerie. I will wear the slip dress perhaps in a different combination.
A small review: I am 5'9 and the length of the dress is just perfect. I love the colourful embroidery, it looks like I'm wearing an entire garden, on a sunny summer day (even if it's September and London it's rainy and cold today). I bought a size L because they come up pretty small and this one fits perfectly (I'm actually UK size 8).
Oh, please remember: in case your order on VIPme is over £15, you will need to pay duty tax, which in my case was £28 (DHL delivers it). So be prepared for that too.
